This cemented our belief that that the man of God (Bushiri) has a passion of developing young people and cementing Africa’s footprint on the world stage,” Chabunya told Nyasa Times in a statement. She said they want to use the money to renovate and construct basketball courts  as well as purcharse equipmeny. “They say  charity begins at home, and it is out humble hope that as we are getting no assistance from our duty bearers, the propjet will empower Cezobal to reach out to Malawi’s urban and rural youth that are increasingly denied fair life chances,” said Chabunya. “The Major 1 is also Malawi’s greatest export to the world and it is our hope that our association with the Man of God’s brand will bring more youth into Gods kingdom and also lay foundation for personal growth and sporting glory that Malawi can truly be proud of,” she added. Chabunya said they hope Bushiri –who recently funded Football Association of Malawi -  will favourably respond to their request and hep save basketball in Malawi from its “death bed.”
